Marketing Effectiveness Programme
Economic indicators would suggest the NZ economy is entering a challenging phase. However, history shows that this is a period when businesses should continue to invest in marketing activity. In fact research indicates businesses that continue to spend and promote during a soft market, will out perform those that don’t and will rebound faster when the market recovers.
However this doesn’t mean you should necessarily continue to do what you are already doing now. It’s highly likely that your marketing strategy will need to be adjusted and this is an ideal time to reevaluate your marketing strategies and supplier relationships to ensure you are gaining the most value in the marketplace.
Our purpose is to help accelerate business growth, we
do this by working with businesses at several levels to develop compelling strategic plans, achievable sales & marketing plans, and by introducing new online channels. The Marketing Effectiveness programme is a vital element in delivering on our objective of growth. Marketing is often seen as a discretionary expenditure area and so we developed this programme to help businesses ensure their marketing strategies are generating the best possible return.
The programme examines marketing practices and expenditure, and then provides detailed specific recommendations on how to improve returns gained from the marketing investment. The programme is made up of the following components;
Budget expenditure tracking and monitoring - often not detailed to the level required to be able to effectively monitor and manage.
Advertising & promotion mix analysis - analysing promotional spend to find a more efficient mix to generate a higher marketing
ROI.
Lean marketing workshop - half day workshop to set priorities for investment over the following 12 months. The focus is on rationalising the amount of activity to focus on those generating the greatest return.
Supplier analysis - reviewing commercial arrangements with key marketing suppliers to ensure alignment and optimum terms.
Campaign objectives - analysing the process for launching new campaigns. Ensuring the objectives for each campaign are specific and tangible, there are appropriate tracking techniques for each campaign and the returns in terms of leads and sales for each campaign can be measured.
Effective marketing presentation - a tailored presentation on Marketing ROI principles incorporating key recommendations to help up-skill the marketing team.
Working from a solid background in finance, marketing, sales and strategic planning, InsideOut has a proven track record of working with a number of NZ businesses to successfully enhance business growth. To give a further insight into our approach I would suggest you read our
free whitepaper ‘Marketing ROI - balancing the art and science of marketing’
which can be downloaded from our resource section.
Our standard marketing effectiveness programme costs $13,500 + GST. This is a six week programme and it includes over five days of consulting, the lean marketing workshop, and the recommendations and training presentation. We’re confident that you’ll get significant value out of this programme. In fact we will refund our fee if you don’t.
To get started and find out more
please call me
to arrange an introductory meeting. We can gain an overview of your marketing activity and discuss how we would specifically tailor our approach to your business. This would of course be a no cost, no obligation meeting.
