This is a quick update to announce the development of a new chapter at InsideOut. As you know we work with a number of different consultants for our clients. One of the many people I’ve been lucky enough to work with has been
Ben Young. We worked so well together we thought we’d try it on a more full time basis and have started Young & Shand, a new Digital Marketing Agency. Late last year we formalised this, got a great first client (more later) and moved into offices together.
The focus for the business is going to be more online than InsideOut. We will still offer Strategy and Marketing services but these will be with a digital bias. Our intention is to develop a significant Digital Marketing Agency, a space we feel is under served in the current market. Our purpose it to help our clients spread their stories and grow in a more natural viral way.
We believe New Zealand businesses that fully engage with their customers online will have a much stronger future and our objective is to help them get there. That’s not to say that everything should be online - we believe quite the opposite. Businesses have to have great products, great services and tell great stories to their customers. There needs to be a strong offline or traditional advertising component in this but for many businesses the amount they spend online could/should double or even triple.
While this is early days we’ve already delivered two custom Facebook pages for
Dominate and
Primal Earth as well as developing a
brand new site for Primal Earth which went live in the middle of the New Years holiday weekend (so we’re prepared to go the extra mile!).
