It’s great to see we have finally scrapped together 5 dragons for the NZ version of the Dragons' Den. It will be interesting to watch after the UK and Australian versions. This year I was asked to be on the Judging Panel for the
University of Auckland Spark competition – it’s about as close to being a Dragon, as I will get!
Spark is an entrepreneurial competition where students can win $40k to start a business. So far I’ve poured through 10 different business plans and 3 or 4 were interesting enough to go the next round. From what I’ve seen there isn’t a shortage of ideas out there. So just get on with it and take a risk.
