Late last year I was approached by United States-based email marketing consultant Chris Baggott, to contribute to his new book Email Marketing by the Numbers. For the book Baggott approached a number of other online marketing specialists to contribute their perspectives to each chapter of the book. My submission
"Is email the perfect marketing tool?" was ultimately published in the book which came out a month or so ago.
I’ve just finished reading the whole book and I have to say it’s a good read full of examples for how you could use email to generate some great business results. It was great to be involved in this project as personally I don’t think New Zealand businesses spend enough time on either email marketing or internet marketing as a whole. I believe online marketing is a great leveler – a great way for smaller New Zealand businesses to compete with larger global competitors and to communicate effectively internationally.
